Hello and welcome to The Home and Garden Niche!
My name is Richard and I live in the north-east of England. When I decided to start to delve into the world of writing online in 2010, I decided that one of my projects would be based on a subject that I could learn more about personally during the process. Something popular that I hadn’t taken too much personal interest in previously. The home and garden seemed a good enough place to start!
As I dug deeper into the subject I was surprised at the sheer depth of the subject, being a somewhat frugal liver myself! I also discovered that many products have completely different names in the UK to in North America. Think “scatter cushions” and “throw cushions”. Some products seem to be popular in one country and unknown in others. Think “splashbacks for kitchens”.
Not to be deterred, I am determined to make this site a wonderful online resource for all things home and garden. I love to receive guest posts from other enthusiasts, so feel free to drop me a line!
